Karen (Hodges-Chavis) Jones

Karen Jones,67, of Lillington, passed away, Saturday, October 11, 2025.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Lillington Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church. 

Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery

A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Genesis Mortuary, with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

A public viewing will resume one hour prior to the service at the church.

Per the family’s request, there will be no visitation at the residence.

The family will gather at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Genesis Mortuary Services, 101 E. Harnett Street, Dunn, NC, in preparation for the funeral processional.

Services are entrusted to Genesis Mortuary Services of Dunn.
